The association Friends of the Rambla since 1961 gives the Honorary award to Ramblista. This year the prizes were awarded at the Salon de Cent City Council and Las Golondrinas have been also been included whit likes of John Hoffman, the Mobile World Congress; Francisco Ibáñez, comics artist; and the Foundation Tot Raval. The prize was given to, Manuel Roca, manager of Las Golondrinas – Sirens SA, and he spoke a few words at the ceremony: “It made me very excited and emotional because to tell the truth my grandfather and my father, also had so much to do with the Ramblas, so, when I was informed that we had been chosen as one of Ramblistas of Honor, I got very excited. Thank you all for this honor.”
